How to Play Caribbean Stud Poker, or CyberstudPlaying Caribbean Stud Poker, or Cyberstud, isn't a difficult task, since there are only two decisions to choose from on every hand. Gameplay is as simple as placing your "ante" bet and getting dealt your 5 cards. The dealer gets 5 cards too, one of which he turns over for you to see. At this point, you have 2 decisions: bet or fold. To bet, you place an additional amount equal to the amount of the ante as your bet. If the dealer qualifies, and if you have a better than than the dealer, then you win a payoff that's determined by the payout chart. (The payout chart for Cyberstud is pretty standard and is included in our Caribbean Stud Odds section.) If you fold, you give up your ante to the house. To qualify, the dealer must be holding a hand that is at least Ace-King or higher in rank. If the dealer doesn't qualify, your ante bet is returned to you and you receive a 1:1 payoff. The additional bet that you made is returned also. Since you can have a beautiful hand and the dealer can only pay off at 1:1 if he doesn't qualify, Caribbean Stud can be very frustrating at times.
