Microgaming Caribbean Stud Poker Online

Cyberstud progressive poker is a Microgaming version of Caribbean poker. The jackpot bet is a side bet of $1, and not only does that bet make you eligible for the progressive jackpot, it also makes you eligible to win other bonus payouts on different poker hands.

In Cyberstud you make an ante bet and then receive 5 cards. The dealer also receives 5 cards. The dealer shows on of his cards to you, and your decision is then to:

Fold
Call

Cyberstud Progressive Poker Decisions

There are only 2 possible decisions you can make in Cyberstud, call or fold. If you fold, you forfeit the ante bet that you made. On the other hand, if you call, you have to place another bet equal to the amount of the ante, basically doubling your bet.

If you call, the dealer must "qualify" by having an Ace/King or better. If the dealer's hand doesn't qualify, then players who didn't fold win the ante bet at 1:1 odds. The extra bet that you made to call is returned to the player and isn't paid off.

If the dealer's hand does qualify, you lose both your ante bet and the additional bet if the dealer has a better hand than you do. But if you have a better hand than the dealer, your bet is paid off according to the game's paytable. The better your hand is, the better the payoff is.
